Aidez-Moi Foundation recognizes the importance of health in the broader development picture. When children suffer from recurring illnesses, it impacts their ability to attend school, this hurting their educational capacity, and sometimes even threatens their survival. Similarly for adults, illness impacts business productivity and ability to sustain employment in support of a family or to conduct the basic household tasks, such as farming, cooking and water collection that in many parts of the world can be especially laborious.
Therefore, Aidez-Moi Foundation works toward minimizing health problems by tackling those that are preventable and treatable, including HIV/AIDS, malaria, TB, diarrhea, cholera, diabetics, cancer and malnutrition, among others. This can be accomplished through establishment of community health centers and clinics, community education programs, and provision of clean water and mosquito nets.
