Education is what happens to man from the day he was born to the day he dies. It is fundamental to any developing society. It is also the pivot to which the development of a community hangs. Whether it is provision of primary and secondary schooling to children, business development training to adults or public health education to the entire community, education is vital to the growth, productivity and development of any society.
Education is either a direct (primary and secondary education) or indirect aspect of every program WCDP undertakes. It threads through all five of the areas in which we operate, whether it is via an agricultural extension worker, a business development center or a health care provider, education is a key component of our work.
